There's no menu at Kebapçı Kerim Salur. One dish, cooked in a special oven. That's the entire concept — and it works.
The food
The lamb was very tender, juicy, and well-flavored. The dish also included pieces of fried fat — crispy and genuinely delicious. The lavash was fresh and paired well with the meat. Traditional ayran with a smoky note is served in metal cups and is excellent.
The restaurant
We visited during Ramadan, arriving around 6 PM. The restaurant was empty at that point, with several tables reserved, and people started coming in closer to 7 PM. Quiet and unhurried.
The place seats around 30 people. It's very quiet, everyone working there is attentive and moves quickly, and the overall atmosphere is warm. The people here stood out to me as particularly friendly and welcoming. One detail worth mentioning: there's a narrow strip of mirrors running the full length of the wall at table height — a small but distinctive interior touch.
Practical info
The restaurant is right in the city center — there's paid parking nearby, though it's not affiliated with the place itself. Prices are slightly on the higher side for the portion size, though that's fairly typical for a central location in Turkey.
Worth it?
Yes — I'd recommend visiting at least once if you're in Denizli.
